oh..and the person who I was supposed to rent a parking place from for the winter has no idea who we are so I am also without parking now 
my boyfriend talked to the lady and of course got no information at all, no name or anything so we couldn't even have that to fall back on. I am probably going to have to park at his x's house which is a 10 min walk away. I am going to hate having to walk there so I can drive my car..after I shovel the snow off of it and let it warm up I will have wasted half an hour. There is no point to drive it by then, I may as well just take the bus.

Yes, it's an alternative but not a 'good' alternative. Also, when its -20c it takes 20 minutes to warm the car which I can't do if I have to stand outside with it. I'd rather be in the house. and then when it snows I am not going to shovel HER driveway too so I can get my car out. I think also she leave after me so I won't even be able to get TO my car unless she moves hers first.
Avec does = with.. but in that sentence it means "I'm going to go WITH the driver to buy the tickets (together)" and not " I'm going to buy the ticket FROM the driver"
