When I bought my HOA ticket, the average for us was 0.82 EUR (buying was 0.79 I think), then it went down and back up again, but not that much. Should have bought more euros then, but I was hoping it'd go up further. Oh well. Even an average of .70 EUR was pretty decent value when I first bought so I shouldn't complain.

Last time I bought US$ it was the other way around. It was $0.70 = €1. It was 10 years ago, I've never bought nor used US$ after that.

That's it..the world is going to hella my friend..everyone is feeling it. I think last summer EUR was worth 1.5 CAD. Probably the closer we get to WoA the cheaper things will be for me. Unfortunately I can't take advantage too much because everything needs to be booked in advance. Plane tickets into Paris were only $500 - last year was $650. Funny if you fly OUT of Paris its 3x more expensive - which is why we leave from Brussels

I'm so happy Belgian tax payers (incl. myself) is paying all my transportation. Which basically means, free transportation for me! (and one guide as well)

Too bad it doesn't work on planes.

Es gibt Lachgas (ich weiss nicht ob das überigens die richtige Übersetzung ist, in NL heisst es "Lachgas") in NL. Vielleicht nicht in DE, aber ich muss sagen, das weiss ich ehrlich gesagt nicht.
