Me! I have never seen pink hair look good on anyone over 30. Especially I wouldn't be able to work in the government offices either. They frown upon individuality here.

Are you kidding me? Working in government here means (depending on the job) a man could come to work in a dress if he wanted to. There are dress standards in each field of work, but long hair, tattoos, face piercings, pink hair, festival wrist bands - all fine unless it impacts on the work itself.

It's not that I dislike Bloodstock which had me leaning towards the idea of not going there next year...it's the travel between the German festivals either side of it which I found super stressful. Then they announce King Diamond as the Friday headliner. Bah :o

It's already difficult for us to "just" go to the UK. (after all, it is an island), but I can imagine it even being more difficult if you're here for a short period, and wanting to see as much as possible!

But personally, I wouldn't go for King to the UK. But that's my personal taste.

I don't ever see myself returning to the UK to "see" the place. If I had no friends or family there it'd take a lot for me to go back. Difficult doesn't really begin to describe what it was like travelling from Bloodstock to Summer Breeze though (even if we forget about my little "incident" in Munich) :uff:

Likewise, King Diamond is probably not enough for me to go through the bullshit travel, but my inner Pome would whinge about missing out on what ever bands they decide to book even if I've seen them already/don't own any albums :p
