I'm getting really concerned about one of my classes. It's three weeks into school and I haven't gotten a chance to do any studying in it, at all. Not even in the class itself.

You only really need to hide it from the security guards at the entrance of the festival area. After that, you don't really need to hide it.

You could do that with any water bottle technically, but the collapsible ones are less bulky thus not obvious. Fill it halfway or so with water and there, you've got water in the festival area (not a whole lot, but better than nothing).

Basically, in the beginning it started off really easy - like this-is-what-a-graph-is easy. So I let my attention wander and suddenly they're doing all this advanced stuff (don't even know how that happened). Well since it's a statistics class, everything builds on itself, so once you miss something you have to go back to the beginning to figure it out. But I haven't gotten a chance to, not with my other classes and with work (where they've given me too many hours, more than I'd asked for)

The test is still a week and a half away so I'd have plenty of time to catch up, but I'm working nearly every day that week - and I know from experience that I have maybe an hour of study/homework time every day that I have both work and school.

What I'm probably going to do (today if I can, after the German) is just crack open the textbook and see if I can get an idea of how much I need to catch up on. If it's too much, I might just have to drop the class. Which would suck, because then I have to take more classes next semester, but maybe by then I can get them to make my schedule/hours right.

Start at the beginning.. I think I had this same problem in stats too! it's a bitch if you miss one little thing. You should be able to get it though.

I'll smuggle the bottle in my shirt - used to hide full beer bottles between my boobs - you can't tell haha

We'll see. If there's too much I've missed, I'm just going to have to try it again later. Even if I can scrape by, that's not good enough - I need straight As. Or at the very least, As and Bs. My math classes have historically been Cs (though that was before I got my act together and started caring about school) so I know I need to work particularly hard in this class.

Yep. I've been able to stay on top of my other three classes just fine (they had more urgent tests/assignments due so those came first) but this one? Not so much. :(

The main problem with dropping it though is having to do 5 classes next semester. That's going to be even more difficult.

But maybe with some luck, one of those five classes will be available to take in the winter - in a "mini semester" between this semester and the next. That'd work out just fine.

Do you have a student center or something where you can go to get help? We used to have student tutors that people could go see for free at our university
