I don't have to worry about those things. It is really good to have a friend who lives quite close to Wacken and will get a lift there. All I need is my personal things and he can take care of all the other stuff (maybe it also helps that I'm female so guys, even friends, don't want me to carry too much). :D

You have nicer friends than I do. :o:p

But yea, Sipy lives near Wacken too, I went there from her place last year. She drove us, so we were able to go to the supermarket, load everything in the car, and drive it straight to our camp. :D It was nice. Too bad we weren't able to use the car when we needed to make a return to the supermarket.

Or disposable grills, they exist.
I don't know how good they are, but it seams to work.
And take TOILET PAPER!!! That's something you can't live without. The dixies will have them in the morning, but in an hour or so, it's all GONE.

Oh yes. Will be one thing on my top 10 list to have toilet paper. Beer is number 1. :D

Last year?

Wasn't it 2010? I remember having seen you! Chris too. And we didn't go last year! (2011)

It's not that far from the "No Food Area", the Festival area, etc. It's a good place.

ONE general warning, but that goes for everywhere: be aware of thiefs! Wherever many people are, there'll be thieves. Unfortunately that's nothing to do with Wacken, it happens everywhere. :(

I have actually been thinking about the safety because I will need my ID/passport and planeticket to get back home. I'll figure out some way to keep them safe and my money too. I don't think anyone wants my clothes etc anyway.

The disposable grills were alright, but they seemed to take awhile to get going.

And I second the toilet paper. Never expect the toilets to have any, ever. :o So bring as much as you'll need. And take a roll with you whenever you have to go.

Last time, I meant. :o 2010, yea.

You could get something like this. I have one (not that one though) and it's worked nicely. Basically you wear it under your pants, which sounds awkward but isn't that bad. Keeps everything you need in a place where no one can get to it without you noticing. :p And since thieves don't know it's there, they won't try.

I have been thinking about something like that or one that is under my shirt. I kind of dislike under shirt one, because it might be hard to hide especially if it's hot.

I got one that hangs from a belt loop and goes down my leg. I think that kind's nicer than the ones that go around your waist. Still feels a bit weird, but worth the peace of mind.

Yea, I think the ones under your shirt are a bit too noticeable.

You can always hide things in your bra, though. :D Kind of uncomfortable and you risk your stuff falling out if it's loose, but it could work. :D (But I like my pouch better)

I was also thinking about safety deposit boxes but there isn't much info about those and I have seen what kind of people keep those safe in some finnish events so I would be bit worried (I've been assigned to do that and I am 153cm so definetly not big or in other ways able to prevent someone from stealing everything).
