Definetly not drinking beer or anything else with alcohol :)
Wise decision. :)
Maybe we will get some info after this. or not :)

Oh, I can give you that. Jupiler is a "pils", or lager beer, like so many here in the continent. Tastes good, to my opinoin.
But Belgium is known for its own style of brewing. E.g. "cherry beer" aka Kriek, Trappist beer (that must be brewed WITHIN the walls of the monestairy BY MONKS), abbey beer (same, but can be brewed outside those walls, and by anybody, just the recipe made by the monks must be followed), local breweries etc.
This gives us a big variety of different (and tasty) beers. Just like in Germany, but the German culture on beer is way different!

The thing with German beer is, it's mostly regionally based, as far as I know. I know some good beers from Nordrhein-Westfalen, but also from Schleswig-Holstein, and some of Bavaria (Bayern). But I never had for instance, a good beer from Niedersachsen (Lower Saxon) or the former DDR! And I'm curious to try them too of course.

Consider yourself lucky! Many people don't even know other beers, except their own! (France where not much beer is drunk), or England (they have 'strange' beers, some taste good, others are horrible though, but always 'flat', no sparkles).

Do you know by any chance Dithmarscher? I like that beer.

No but maybe I get to taste more different ones next summer. I will try to drink 4 days and last 3 days stay away from beer but 4 days might be enough to taste different ones. :D
