Exactly. I had a police station in my school when I was 14, but the officers were friends with most of the students and they were only there because there were a few issues that occurred a few years before I was a student there. There were a few students who didn't like it, but they were also the ones who usually got arrested for violence.

Texas is different, but the stuff that was in that article isn't something that happens anywhere in the country. The only thing that really changes between states for the most part are minor laws and culture. Some places are more regulated than others.

I have a really nasty bout of insomnia. Hopefully it won't last as long as the last one where I stayed awake for 60 hours and still wasn't tired. Luckily, I have nothing to do until Wednesday besides my aunts birthday. I haven't shown up to her birthday in years though and really don't think I care enough to force myself against my body's nature for a person I don't like.
