Several cities and counties in Georgia held elections today on whether or not to allow alcohol to be sold in stores etc on Sundays. So far we haven't been allowed to. But a few months back the governor turned it over to local cities to decide for themselves.

That's up there with "close the bar for 5 minutes every hour so the patrons don't get shitfaced and beat the shit out of each other". From what I could gather they had that in Sydney when I was there on NYE. I recon it was just an excuse for poor customer service.

I certainly hope for a good New Year's this year.

Probably means that when the auction reaches a certain point you win it no matter what. I've seen it before, where you start bidding at 1$ but when you bid something like 50 or so the auction ends right away.
