Having said that, it's a public hospital so you can't expect anything to be done in any decent timeframe :p The looks on my co-workers faces when I get something done/prepared straight away is priceless :D

remind me not to get ill or break anything if I ever visit australia :p

Don't worry, I work at one of the worst in the state. I blame the high number of dole collectors and the unemployed/disability pensioners who can't decide whether to buy food this week or amphetamines. As you can imagine the city itself is one where you point and laugh at people for living there. Then there's the politics of which hospitals get the funding, and they decided to give it all to the one in Brisbane that is always over budget so all I've ever heard this year is "you can't buy a pen we have no money". I daren't ask for a few dictation microphones to make my job a little more useful.

Once you're in though, it's not that terrible. Lucky for you Australia has a reciprocal agreement with the Netherlands (and a few others) so as far as I understand, if you have to go to hospital you're treated for free provided you show them your passport or reciprocal health care card.

I always have my healthcare card with me, so I guess I'll be fine than haha.

Sleep schedule successfully flipped around. Where yesterday (was it yesterday?) I would be going to sleep about now, today I just woke up.

Reminds me of this one time...
We had just played a show in New Castle and didn't have accommodation so we drove back home (with all breaks included, it neared the 10 or 12 hour mark iirc but we took our time). As you can probably imagine it was a little difficult to sleep in a sedan with 5 adults, so by the time I got back to mine, I decided to have a bit of a "kip" at around 3pm and planned to go out later that night. I woke up at 10pm and wondered what the hell to do with myself, so I sat on the internet until 6am then went to bed again.
