Well I don't know how it's done, but from what I'm told some of it are smuggled in by family and relatives of law enforcement officers. The fireworks are brought in from China.

Ah that makes sense. Though I don't think I'd be among the bunch trusting Chinese fireworks after their massive food recalls.

I have some got some sooo I won't be losing my hearing this summer...

My work is providing me with mine. My boss wants me to continue to hear and he's well aware I'm far too cheap to actually buy something I can get for free.

I got mine from work as well, we have a large dispenser full of the disposable ones.
