I think it also kinda depends on where you are looking... The region you are looking in atm is very popular, but think of it this way: Holland is a small country. if you really need a house look for cities with a direct train connection

well, we are kinda looking around everything up to two hours way to Amsterdam and Almere I guess. Of course Ap needs to be close enough to his work. I myself don't mind about taking another University though. Just that Amsterdam would seriously rock

you cán do that here, but it is ridiculously expensive. directwonen.nl for instance works that way. but they charge pretty high rents, and when you find a house you have to pay like 3 times a month of rent in advance
