well, I would try to help them as much as I can. I don't mind getting up earlier for someone, but of course I'd like to get at least a small amount of money for the gas. Don't need extramoney for the effort though. I do it gladly
But normally I'd expect it to be something that I wouldn't like to do anyways and try to get out of it

Well, normally I would probably get angry and tell them to do it theirselves. Dunno how I would react nowadays. Maybe the way you just said. If they still don't help I'd just keep doing it the way that I myself feel comfortable about it. Don't think I am having that low standarts that other's couldn't live in it.

and its the kind i can understand so that's great.
uhm... I'd probably tell whatever was the reason... too little time to learn, couldn't listen in class, maybe just no talent, whatever. If it was just lazyness or desinterest I'd probably justify again (see that other question)
