lol I had a guy on the phone at work a while ago, and he had a problem with his modem. Lightning struck close to his house and after that, all lights on the modem started burning, and did not go off unless he unplugged the entire modem. The power switch was not even working

I know it struck in the backgarden of my ex's house (when he was still living with his dad)
all the lights in the garden were affected (most of them did not work afterwards, some did work, but not like they should) and the tv of his brother

I remember once I was staying after school for band practice during a huge thunderstorm, pouring rain, etc, and a lightning bolt hit the school
[I was outside running around in a fairly open area with lots of metal on me, btw]
