yea, I know what inhalers do, I use it myself, remember? ;)

Just wanted to know what it looks like. We have a big one, which is very loud and vibrates. I can imagine, if a child is scared of that. But we also have a small portable one, which doesn't look as bad

I know, don't worry ;)

I guess the small one.
But imagine a 15 months old, and this small thing looks big to him!

if he's actually scared of it, I would try in a first to make him "play" with it. Like put some water in and show him how there is funny smoke coming out. He might find that interesting. At least that's what I'd try if I had a child in that age. Maybe also play with him like that, when he actually doesn't need to inhale afterwards

It's of course more scary to him if you press a machine into his face, that he doesn't know before
