Well, I don't know what you guys are up to right now, but I myself am willing to help her. If she may had been able to arrange things already or not.. it just didn't work out. But I'm confident she won't let me down and she will pay it back as soon as she's able...

She can't change what she missed, but she should be able to rely on friends, no matter, if she's to blame for her situation or not

it's discrimination not to employ someone because of being handicapped. You could have sued those guys

I need more. The computer thing, but I work slower because of my sight. That means, loss of productivity, and therefore "income" for the company. It's a complicated matter.

But suing them? No chance. How do you prove discrimination? It's your word against the employer's. (and a certain loss)

yes it is discriminating, but isn't that the idea of getting an employee?
Discrimate one, coz the other is more suitable...

it is. But I spoke from a law point of view. Also it is that Quark can maybe do certain jobs at least as well as others and is still discriminated because of something that won't handicap him with the right equipment. That's no getting the best person anymore. It's just ignorant

that is the most of employers, the want th most money for them... regardless.. they cut jobs .. they change laws, threaten etc

And I did lots of shit wrong in my life (and I can bet you too) but I had friends that stood to me and supported me without reproaching and judging me for my misses or mistakes all the time. I don't know where I would be without that
