Well Hawaii, like Georgia, can get VERY humid, so the heat and humidity at WOA is no problem for me at all.

Yes the 80s is the norm, some days low 90s. Never 100s. Your heat and humidity is worse I believe. Saturday it hit 90!

At Wacken. At the camp site. We're using Bock Tours to get there. The bus takes you directly to Wacken and the camping area.

But the forum camp won't open before 8am

If there's a breeze blowing it's nice. I normally run at 11:00 am so I am used to being out in the heat of day. Don't care for it, but it's no problem. If WOA 2003 was an indication of what is normal, Wacken is no problem for me.

Well that's no problem, We'll just find a spot to sit down and relax then. By the time we disembark the bus and gather our belongings it may be closer to 6:30 - 7:00 anyway.

and then, at its hottest... try going outside for 4 hours every day for two weeks, plus a 12 hour day at the end... for marching band
...i think i'll be okay at wacken
