HOLY SHIT!!! I didn't see anywhere NEAR that many people last year.

No, I don't think 6 million people were there last year 6K or 6000!

But surely there was more than this, at any rate?

That's not right. Last year, we had only a attendance about 6000k or 7000 k. The organisators were very disappointid about it and have got a big financial debt.

have you actually BEEN to the festival area last year?

During Accept, which I will consider for this particular purpose the top attendance of the festival, it was full all the way to the back. 7k people would have only filled it up to the first sound tower, or even less.
I would say that the general attendance for wacken would be between 30,000- 35,000.
