Well..the Kreator gig this year at Wacken was very impressive. One hell of a Violant Extreme Agressive Revolution
It was really polite of Mille that he even adressed the crowd in English. Anyway it was really great

i actually look forward to hearing the german stage banter(even though i don't understand it...hey the song titles don't change). but it was nice that Mille mentioning that there are people from all over there the world there. Exodus seemed to think that the whole fest is all germans.

Blind Guardian was guilty of the same. But I did like how Schmier from Destruction stopped himself midway through a sentence and went, "Wait, is there anybody NOT from Germany here tonight?" heheh...
I don't know...I just thought it was cool when the bands remembered that Wacken is really an international fest. Granted, you can't greet everybody in their native language, but at least some concession to those of us who didn't speak German is appreciated.
