Does Wacken have a sellout amount?

I know it is a weird question but is there a certain point where they consider Wacken to be sold out?

I just ordered my tickets but the girl I know who is meeting me in Hamburg can't get her tickets for alittle while. She asked me if it ever sells out and I didn't know how to reply to her.

Last three years it was sold out since just a few days before the festival

This past year it sold out the first day of the festival...I bought my tickets on early Thursday afternoon from the office, apparently moments before it sold out. 2003, was similarly close. 2002 sold out a few weeks before.

This one will surely sell out faster.

Hmm, good call, Kate...I guess I need to be a little bit more cynical before I take those news items as truth.

well from 2002 I thought sell out was 25,000


but the last 2 years report were 30,000 at Wacken

Yeah, a friend of mine who travelled last year from Madrid to Wacken could get in only because my ex flat mate had to work and he could use her ticket. Otherwise he would've had to jump the fence or something

I am not sure, but I remember people buying single day tickets as well 'till the last day of the fest in 2003.

I couldn't believe how many people were there for A Night to Remember in 2004...

I'm sure half of that crowd had day tickets just to see Bohse Onkelz (hope I spelt that correctly).

I've never see that many people watching one band

actually I don´t want to know that... all that sellout stuff is bullshit, but they have to say its limited because of authorities charges... and so they are lying every year anew
