The two most brutal fucking releases this year. And that means the best of corpse

DT - Damage Done is a great album, but - *takesDamageDoneoutofCDpocketandlooksatitsback* - it was definitely published in 2002.

Nevermore - Enemies of Reality...is a fine one, yes
Opeth - Damnation...a fine one, too, but completely non-metal
Rage - Soundchaser
Stratovarius - Elements Pt 1 (!)... I think that was early in 2003

but I think there have been better years

I must mention the last Finntroll... ok it's a special album but it's great anyway... and the year is not finished... I'm waiting for EMP to deliver the last Skyforger and Manegarm... Maybe those are very good too (I do hope so anyway)
