It is OFFICIAL, Maniac has parted ways with Mayhem. Effective immediately, Attila Csihar is once again the frontman for Mayhem. Here is the official statement direct from the band:

Maniac is out of the band and back in comes Attila Csihar. He will from now
on take Maniacs role as a front figure with immediate effect.
All though the rumors have been flourishing over the past months, nothing
was decided until now.
The reason for this change lies in a more private matters, but it also deals
with Maniacs inability to tour.
"Maniac was, and will always be a part of our legacy, and it has been an
honor to work with him for the last 10 years. Respect!

This could turn out rather cool.

He might be better vocalist, but as a frontman he will be boring. I saw him in Prague with 1349

Well only fact that he replaced my favorite drunkhead is annoying...well this is the end folks. No more fun. I am not gonna watch somebody screaming and staying like a piece of rock, as he did with 1349.

My friend says that he said in czech magazine after he hit with the pigs head one girl, that she can just fuck off and people who cries for every hurt doesnt belong to the black metal concerts....which is also my opinion.

My frind broke his nose while he headbang during their show. He bang his head into the barrier....and again, and again so doctors had to put his nose together for like 14 days. And he was fucking proud of it

hey no problem with that. really, I actually liked the fact that he thrown the pig's head at my general direction, nevermind hitting my leg eventually.
I can still be pissed off for that in general disregarding the fact that it was on a BM concert.
just another thing to be pissed off by and proud of at the same time.
