Update 11/7/2006 5:15:00 PM
Ronnie has been hard at work with Tony Iommi creating new tracks for the forthcoming box set due tentatively in February 2007.
The Tenacious D movie "The Pick of Destiny", which marks Ronnie James Dio's acting debut, hits theatres November 22, and Ronnie recently attended the London premiere, followed by a stop at the Classic Rock Awards in London, where Ronnie was awarded the 2006 Metal Guru Award.
Finally, Dio ends the year on a high note (go Ronnie!) as the band brings in the new year with a show at Kavarna City Center in Bulgaria!
Ronnie James Dio to Reunite with Iommi, Butler & Ward! 10/25/2006 6:50:22 PM
The highly anticipated reunion of Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward appears to be shaping up and taking a new form.
After various promoters have approached their respective management; the guys have started taking all of this very seriously, as they have wanted to reunite for some time now. It looks as if the new shape may be that of Heaven and Hell. Yes, that's the moniker that the band is likely to use on their new venture.
If all goes well, Heaven and Hell should be hitting the road in early 2007.
