Hi!
We found some nazi's identification badges (or medallions) with personal info near Koenigsberg (now Kaliningrad, Russia)

Could you tell me how can I find people in Germany who are relatives of those dead soldiers to return them what we have found and to give them info about their ancestors' burial places?

This Society´s origin work was to be helpful for war victims and their families...maybe they can give you at least better adresses...

Another idea: Why not try to contact some universities?

This is an institute where they do researches about Eastern Central Europe...there you can get information in russian or polish...maybe this is a good address too...

If the badges are already broken in half (like the one on the picture) the familiy most likely got the news some days after he died. But if you found some badges that are still round in shape, the death was never reported. If you found personel belongings, the families will be pleased to get them.

I like that idea.

Yes, the badges are still unbroken. So the families will definitely be pleased to get them I think.
