oh no, I can get Westmalle...their Tripel rocks!! It's Westvleteren...from one of the Trappist breweries...St. Sixtus or something like that? It's number one on beeradvocate.com's list, and it's one of the most sought after beers in the world. needless to say, I'm having a hell of a time finding it.

urgggh...that's exactly what I was worried about.

I've heard some people have imported it here...but they charge as much as $10 a bottle for it.

oh well, just means I have to spend some time in Belgium when I get the chance.

According to http://www.brygshoppen.dk/htm/Sortiment_Forside.htm they are the smallest trappist brewery in Belgium and sell only small quantities on selected days to people coming in person to the monastery.
