Dune - by David Lynch
don't miss it!
A classic!
Be sure not to rent the TV-version-sucky one though...
Get the one made in 1984, with Kyle Maclachlan, Max von Sydow and Sting.

About addictions then...

Films, movies or whatever you call them
Music, mostly metal
Reading books, mostly fantasy
Internet (inkluding web communities, ICQ, MSN, spamming)
Alcohol, mostly beer
Social life, often including alcohol
Sports, mostly hockey (Watching that is!!)
Driving my car
Working, sadly enough

Addictions I've gotten rid off:
Coffee
Cigarettes
Betting for money
Computer games (more or less)

I won't put women in there, don't think I have, or have ever had, a real addiction to them, nor to sex...

As a HUGE David Lynch Fan I would recommend you ANYTHING....

Lost Highway
Wild at Heart
BLUE VELVET (The critics say it is his Masterpiece)
Mullholand Drive (The newer one, and it's fucking cool)
Eraserhead ( this is his first movie, huge Luis Buñuel/surreal influence)
Elephant Man (the most commercial one indeed, but still good)

And I have to desagree with gnoff.... I don't like Dune, even David himself has called that movie crap.......

I've never knew that Dune was a David Lynch movie! I remember watching that movie when I were about 10 years old. It became one of my favourite movies at that time. Later on, after I read the book, I saw the movie again and, as most books that made it to the cinema, it was a little bit disappointing... :(

Rosk: Thx for the list! I'll try to check out those movies as soon as I can! :)

I saw Mullholand Drive's trailer many times but it looked so dumb that I didnt had the courage to see the movie...

About Lynch

Go out and watch everything. But, as a metalhead, you have to know WILD AT HEART. So go out and watch that one first. Also, if you have a cool and crazy girlfriend, watch the movie together with her. Trust me on this one. The sex will be amazing.

Have fun

6) Matilde mocca milk
7) programming
8) Thai takeout
9) Mystery Science Theatre 3000
10) and finally .... that weird, dull inner ache I get when I listen to the last two At The Gates records .....
