Access on Tuesday 1st August?

We are planning to arrive to camp on Tuesday 1st August 2017.

Does anyone know if the food vendors / food stalls will be open to get dinner from? Will the camp supermarkets be open at that time?

Edeka in the Hauptstraße (Main Street) is open. It's an ordinary supermarket. It is in a way adapted for the Festival. More meat and coal for a bbq and beer in cans.

As the others said, there's the Edeka. It's in the village, not on the campground, but it's not THAT far away. I'm not TOTALLY sure that the campground supermarkets will be open by Tuesday. I think at least those at the shower camps will be, if I'm not mistaken.

Will you be arriving by car or by train / shuttlebus?

You'll probably wind up at camping A, the closest to the village and thus the supermarket. Should be fairly easy to find it, and get some food and beer! And... at normal prices, not the overrated prices at the camping. 15-20 minutes walk from the entrance.
