    My school stopped doing German a couple of years ago, in favour of Spanish. :confused: I'm planning to meet a friend who is German and came here to England a few months ago, he should be able to help me for the most part, but I'd still like to learn! I think I will try some internet searches...

    And another thing, can someone suggest somewhere where I can improve my German? I know a few basic phrases, but I never really learnt how to speak it, and I think lost my 'kickstart German' tape :(

    I would expect to bring my own breakfasts from home, but I would buy lunch from a supermarket and maybe a hamburger for dinner. I'm not a heavy drinker, although alot can happen in 11 months, especially as I'll be over the legal drinking age soon ;) Would about 75 Euros be enough to cover...
