New to Wacken
You can also get showers at some places in the village, i used one which was a proper shower and toilet, and they had hairdryers as well, you have to get a ticket and they give you a time, so you can carry on to the supermarket for your food, and cheap beer.it was about 4 euro for the shower... -

Buy your beer from edeka, it was about 50 cents for lager there and it was ok. you can also buy beer from stalls going into the village, they are about 1 euro and cold. take a cool bag if you can and buy ice from the wacken supermarket on your way back to camp. cold beer is much better. Just to say I saw a few guys walking around either last year or the year before wearing t shirts that said wacken homos, so you are not alone, most people just don't advertise it. so good luck i hope you find someone. I would imagine that there will be a fair few, as I know quite a few guys... -

Don't worry too much, you know what modern media is like, they have to fill the 24 hours news shows with something, and they just pick something and then cause blind panic among the general population. worry about it if you get it, lifes too short to waste stressing out. -

A long way from what i was hoping for, although there should still be about another 20 bands to come, not exactly what most of us were wishing for. hope they do better than this in the next announcement. wondering if it is worth the 29 hour journey, although i do enjoy the beer garden. -
