    Yeah, i'm stoked. we don't get bands like that where i live very often. I'm going for Vader and Psycroptic! Wish Kronos was playing, but hey, nothing is ever perfect... I'll also be attending Party San, and Summer Breeze as part of my German excursion. There are some giants on those...

    Axel Rudi Pell dropped out. Their open slot went to Kamelot who have now switched their day from Saturday to Friday, leaving the empty hole that you see. :)

    I'll be catching the "Summer Slaughter" show here in the States about a week before Wacken. It's Vader, Aborted, Psycroptic, Cryptopsy, Kataklysm and a few others :)

    Thats what i mean by handout. They're black stage slot is solely based on record popularity, they haven't earned it by any means. I agree, there are worse bands, but not many.

    I think that this may be true in the "real" world, but i don't think it is the case for most of the wacken festival goers. The fact that this is their first year is also a good reason why they shouldn't get the black stage. It's a friggin handout to a loser ass band!

    Not sure if anyone has caught this yet, but they have listed CONCEPT INSOMNIA for the WET stage on thursday just before Negura Bunget. I've not seen them confirmed anywhere else, but they're on the running order. They don't do anything for me, but some of you may dig em'.

    I'm satisfied, despite the fact that i wish they would move AILD, KE, and Unearth off of the mainstage. Even if there are no more bands announced, the running order is satisfying.
