Have to pick this one up again - I gave it some thought and after last weekend have to agree, camping would be very tempting - IF the weather is how it was during WOA2018. I'd still go with the hotel option in a rainy Wacken weekend though... the thought of everything being wet inside and out... -

Agree, altough Rammstein is a great band it would probably draw a very rammsteiny crowd, as others have already noted. I was amazed just how many different languages you'd hear spoken by vitisors through the course of a few hours; this is one helluva international gathering, all very friendly... -

Do you know about the tent rental at the festival site? They have tents already put up so you can throw in your stuff and are ready to go. Mein Zelt steht schon - Link on the wacken site . -

Morning folks! I didn't quite understand the description on the website about parking, so maybe somebody can help: I'll stay at a hotel and will use the bus transfer service on Thu-Sun, but could drive to the festival by car on Wednesday to see a few gigs. Is it possible to park the car... -
