    Wacken 2003

    2003 will be my 5th Wacken, and yes, I'm already planning ahead :) I do agree that sometimes the line up can get a bit stale, but on the other hand, it's a great experience, and even if I have seen the same bands before, it's still great music with great metalheads.

    Green Carnation

    I agree, Green Carnation was amazing. I was wondering what parts they would be cutting out, and figured it would be the female vocals section of the song. I did miss the child's vocals, though. Were those there, and if so was it Tchort's son as on the record? Yes, I did have a bit to drink...

    Every fest has problems. That's par for the course regardless of the organizers and location. Things come up and changes have to be made, and that causes some problems and conflicts. This is especially true with a fest as large as Wacken. If you want to complain, then come to the US next...
