I wish there was! I would think the locals that scavenge the left behind tents after every festival, could make some good money renting them out or selling them cheap to travellers. I would dig that. Tents SUCK trying to carry on the cheap airlines. If I could get a cheap used one there... -

yeah The bus situation is pretty bad at the end of the fest (in the morning at least....I don't even know if they have any durring the dark hours.....don't think so). Your best option at that point is a taxi, and buying a tent is probably cheaper than one ride in a cab. -

I'm happy when there are bands I'm not that interested in playing (I've only heard a little of BFMV, and didn't think they sucked THAT bad, that they should be banned) because it gets exausting when I want to see every band for 9 hours straight! I think the ppl making a stink, and bitching... -

Yup, she knows!! I have stayed at the Instatnt Sleep hostel and it's OK.A little cramped but friendly. For 4-6 ppl , cheap, http://www.schanzenstern.de (Hotel Stern) is a nice option. It's walking distance to the Headbanger's Ballroom (fish market), and very close to a subway (maybe 2) +... -
Sooner or later?
I seem to remember it showing SOLD OUT online just before I left last year (a couple days before) but I think they still seel some tickets at the fest (maybe day to day tkts, not sure). I would order ASAP if you're sure you're going.
