    problem whit photocameras

This happened to me also, I had my main K10D with 300mm lens attached, plus my old 300D in the bag, with lenses including a 300mm lens. The security picked on the K10D, told me to change the lens and took the 300mm lens off me, I had to pick it up from security the day after. They didn't bother...

    General European travel thread

If you get chance, go and see the Fantoft Stave Church, it's the one that got burnt down, they've rebuilt it now. It's the one that's on the Burzum album Aske! And check out the amount of cameras they have around the place now!!! It's about 6km out of Bergen.

Bergen is expensive...at least is was when I was last there, and prices certainly haven't dropped anywhere. A Combo Meal at McDonalds or Similar is about $10...and that's the cheapest you'll get there! Beer in a pub or restaurant (400 or 500ml) around 50kr/$8.50. Bottle of Coke is about $2.50

    Driving to Wacken

I don't you think you can park up anywhere and walk in, you have to take your car in. And, good luck leaving on the Sunday...actually leaving the site wasn't too bad last year, we thought it rather easy until we hit the main road to Hamburg, took 5 hours just to get from the site to the other...

    Driving to Wacken

We drove last year (from Greece) and driving again this year. Last year was our first time, we got there and followed what the reflective people told us and we ended up in the Happy Metal Camper Park...which is like in Denmark!!!! Took forever to walk to festival area, and double that on the way...

    Icelandic Volcano!

Yeah, it's because of the ice, doesn't help it's a glacier. All the ice is melting and pouring in and there's new cracks appearing all the time. Ice, water and that extreme heat...not good!
