Ok, this is officially the worst line-up ever

All these mediocre bands brought for 'the largest heavy metal festival in world', Wacken...and one of the most legendary bands of all time goes to the smaller festival? more like a kick in the nuts for all the fans! Orga is probably laughing at us all!

    >>>GOOD NEWS<<<

next year, if I can even muster the cash for more European festivals, its Summer Breeze and Party San Open Air...maybe Mountains of Death. This will definitly be the first and last Wacken I attend, unless it doesnt sell out months ahead and I am guaranteed some better bands.

Nobody asked me, but here are the bands I'll see this year at Wacken

definitly have to add Grand Magus to the list, the only band on my 'maybe' list is UK SUBS...that being said, I will watch whoever closes out every night as well! despite having to go against last years incredi-fest, this year really did round out and will kick a lot of ass. I can't wait to...

To Round out W:O:A 2009 LineUp

agreed. insidious disease and nervecell aren't bad at all either, but again they are not larger-name death metal acts. It would at least bring my opinion of Wacken out of the red, announcing coheed and cambria is another let down.

Ok, this is officially the worst line-up ever

As a primary fan of Death Metal, I am really excited to see Nervecell and Insidious Disease announced for the billing. It is a sort of redemption for Wacken, if at all. There are definitly a lot of bands I will watch, and great acts like Motorhead, Napalm Death and Thin Lizzy really are helping...

Ok, this is officially the worst line-up ever

Gojira are just amazing, I'm pretty stoked that I get to see them play this Sunday...normally I wouldn't go to concerts before such a huge festival but Wacken isn't bringing too many great bands around this time!

    Kingdom of Sorrow??

of all the bands to drop off, why would it have to be KoS? they are actually so legit!
