i like all genre in metal. i mean in every genre there're bands/songs/albums that i like/stand out from the rest. but my favorites are melodic black, black met, folk metal.

Stoner/Doom for the groove and heaviness, Thrash and Death Metal for the speed and the aggression.

Also Death Metal, Folk Metal, Pagan Metal, so called 'Viking Metal' and a tiny wee bit of Power Metal.

For me its just classic, thrash and power metal, but will listen to bands from just about every genre. Not many from newer metal that id listen to though. O I also like heroic folk 'death' metal.
