I don't know any of their music, but I am friends with their new drummer for a couple years already and I would love to see him on stage with such a big band

Scanner is quite a nice band, but Queensryche....... in their beginnings they were fucking great, but their album Q2K (or something similar) sounds a bit grunge, I think.....

Wer nicht nach wacken sollte?
Ich meine Metallica hat dort nix zu suchen. Wenigstens nicht mit ihren aktuellen Songs. Sollten sie Kult spielen wie kill them all, Ride the Lightning oder die Puppets, wäre es O.K., alles danach...vergiss es.

Ich würde mir wünschen, daß Iced Earth noch mal kommt. War 2001 das erste mal dabei und hab sie 2000 verpasst. Wär geil, wenn sie nochmal kämen. Children waren GEIL dieses Jahr, Jungs kommt wieder! Zusätzlich wünsche ich mir auch Graveworm und Summoning. Wenn WOA anständige Boxen stellt, dann auch vielleicht Nightwish, aber 2001 war scheiße. Sobald Tarja in die hohen Tonlagen kam, gaben die Boxen auf. Sonst waren sie ja nicht schlecht.

Against these Band(s):
Metallica...Only if they prove they play only the old songs like the ones from Kill ´em all, Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets. All later CD´s you can forget about it...

For these Bands:
I vote for Iced Earth. 2001 has been the first time I´ve been in Wacken. I missed them in 2000. Would be cool if they´d come again 2003. Children were BIG this year, Boys, come again next year. Additional I would like to see Graveworm and Summoning. And if WOA would get better Soundsystems, I´d prefer Nightwish, but 2001 the Speakers gave up everytime Tarja sang the higher parts.

I think it would be great to have Metallica on wacken next year. They probably won't because the little problems they still have (though I heard they are recording another album or something) and probably they are too expensive. Anyway, maybe their music isn't that 'true' anymore, Live they still are great. And I surely hope I get a chance to see them once in my life.(my last chance was Dynamo 1999, but unfortunately I wasn't there)

and further...well... I think I have put my list already somewhere on this board. (too lazy to think of something)

Metallica were a great... in fact my fave band .........but as has been said before they have been going downhill now since the Black album (which i actually like)

i still love the early albums ........but i am sorry to say i dont have much hope for the new album

i never thought i would say it ....but Metallica f**king suck (now)
