It regularly gets above 100F here, so I don't think a measly 80 degrees will be a problem for me.

In the german part of the forum it's the same. No, in the german part it's worse!
But Lord Soth is right, I don't live far away from Wacken and it's dry and hot here since yesterday (although the weeks before we had some kind of late autumn here.) The farmers, and they're better in that than the weather-news, say it will stay nice at least one week.

This doesn't sound TOO bad. As long as it's not around 30 (celsius)... which is much much much too hot for me! 80 F is around 26 C, which is bearable
I dunno, man. Last two years it was fucking brutal...way hotter than southern Ontario, like around 40 degrees (that's what it felt like anyways)...we all looked like a bunch of boiled shrimp by the end of it...hopefully this year will be cooler...the good thing is that it gets a lot colder at night. At least that's some relief from the heat...I'd die if it were super warm at night
