Wacken Open Air 2006“ – Concert highlights exclusive on Premiere • The world’s biggest Heavy Metal-Festival as of 17. In the series “Premiere in Concert“as of the 17. November, PREMIERE DIREKT will be exclusively airing a live recording of the “17. Wacken Open Air 2006“ showing the highlights from the metal event of the year. With three individual concert packages PREMIERE DIREKT are offering everything that a headbanger’s heart desires. Package 1 includes the bands, “In Extremo“, “Subway To Sally“ and “Die apokalyptischen Reiter“, who all are not only reknowned for delivering an excellent sound but also bring great stage performances. The classic Rock’n’Roll bands “Motörhead“, “Rose Tattoo“ and “Danko Jones“ are included in the second concert package. The Australian band “Rose Tattoo” stage real fireworks which “Danko Jones“ then crowns with a perfect performance and Motörhead, the fathers of rock, with Lemmy Kilmister in top form are brilliant in every way. Concert package 3 brings with “Soulfly“ and “Celtic Frost“ first class brachial sound. “Soulfly“ was formed by Max Cavalera, the once singer of “Sepultura“ and just like “Celtic Frost“, deliver energy loaded performances that bring the crowd up to boiling point. “Admission tickets“ for the Heavy Metal event of the year can be ordered over the Premiere Ticket Shop in Internet (www.premiere.de/konzerte), over the service-hotline (0180 / 553 00 00 € 0,12/Min.) or per SMS (8 22 00). The ticket for all 3 packages costs 15 Euros (including all re-runs), a single package is available at a price of 8 Euros. For those who don’t receive the Premiere channels, as of the 17. November, the programs can be followed at any time per internet stream under www.premiere.de for ten Euros. Premiere subscribers pay only 8 Euros for the internet service. It is possible to order the online stream as of the day of airing one hour before concert begin. “Wacken Open Air“ has been going now since 1990, and has established itself as the world’s biggest Heavy Metal Festival presenting everything that has a name or status in the scene. The 3 day live event now attracts over 60000 visitors from not only Germany but from all over the world to the 2000 strong village in Schleswig Holstein and gives over 80 bands from all over the world a slot on one of the four stages. PREMIERE DIREKT offers all subscribers highlights on order. Here the customer can for example choose from five top films per day.
