Yeah, and it is shit. From the Metallica guys (very mediocre guitar players) down to half or more of the list. Random quoting of big names, completely lacking any originality.

Well, I really think Steve Vai is an Astounding instrumentalist and composer.... but he has not been a real influence in metal guitar playing.... Iommi is the foundation on lots of metal stuff until now...

I hate Yngwie's music and influence in metal in recent years (all powermetal neoclassical shreders *yuck*) :mad:

I think they are missing some important and influential names like Trey Azagthot from the mighty Morbid Angel.... I would also put Justin Broadrick (over their influence on the scene alone)
As mono said this list are just names dropping that do not tell anything important at all..... (just as this very post :rolleyes: ) :D
