suprise act leaked?

anyone noticed on the meet and greet times that BLIND GUARDIAN are listed? not on the band list, so I'm taking a logical guess they're the suprise act.

haha I remember something similar happening last year, someone always posts the suprise act without thinking.

I don't think there is a surprise act anymore. That disappeared off the lineup poster thing ages ago. Around about the same time as Carnivore were announced maybe. And theres no times I can see where such a act could play.

I think Blind Guardian are doing a meet and greet at least one other festival without playing to promote their album or something. You can proably expect them next year..

All I know is Rhapsody did that in 2001 or 2002.

Why? Maybe the band likes Wacken that much that they wanna be part of it? Who knows?

That occurred to me too, when I saw the "signing session" news. Perhaps they WILL play, but I don't expect it to be a long gig... (I am not a BG fan though, so...)

From what the mainpage has to say these days, I understand, that Tribe After Tribe are not playing (for a sad reason ); ergo, there will likely be a replacement; no names have been disclosed yet --> ergo, expect another surprise act... :-/

I think they're only coming to the meet and greet, because of they're new album.
They were also at the Earthshakerfest this weekend, but didn't play, only three of their new songs were played, but not live, only from CD...
Guess, it will be similar in Wacken

I haven't! And that's a bit odd. There is no news (according to me) that BFMV will replace Tribe after Trive!
