Gibt ein Interview von Fabio auf www.themetalcircus.com, allerdings auf Spanisch. Eine englische Übersetzung von Fabios Antworten gibt's im Rhapsody Forum.

Das Wichtigste aber mal kurz hier:

"The band is in a period of detention, due to some problems with our former manager that make us be stopped for some time... We have the hope that things can be resolved soon and come back stronger than ever.
We have worked on a new album that is practically written and we had thought in several concerts, deciding on a good setlist to propose, thinking about all the details and effects for the scenography, etc.
Anyways, we're ready to take off... as soon as the situation with the former manager gets definetively solved!"

Klingt zumindest nicht so schlimm wie es sein könnte.

Das hoff ich auch. Sie wollen, sollten sie das ganze durchstehen - woran ich natürlich fest glaube -, sowie mehr touren. Und dann glücklicherweise selbstständig, und nicht nur als Handgepäck von Manowar.

Schon ne Woche her, aber früher hab ichs nicht gelesen:

first of all thank you for all the patience you had in these last times despite the lack of news regarding the band.
We wanted to inform you that we are in the middle of a hard legal fight with MCM and his main representative Mr. Joey De Maio.
That’s the reason why in the last months we had to keep all strictly confidential and could not release any official declaration that could obviously be used against us from the opposite side. And that’s also the reason why we were constricted to stop completely our band’s activity. Frankly we are not able to imagine if all this can end in a very close future but we want to assure you that we are ready to fight with all the strength of body and soul in order to protect yours and our beloved band. Yes, aside from these bad events we ask you to not lose your faith in us. As soon as this sad situation will be solved we’ll be ready for a great and mighty come back. A new album, a real masterpiece of speed/epic metal, is already composed and ready to be recorded and after its release an immense worldwide tour will finally follow for yours and our extreme satisfaction.

Whow - was ist denn da los? Hat jemand nähere Ahnung, worüber sich Luca und Joey in die Haare bekommen haben?

P.S.: Die Tour mit Manowar war echt nicht der Hit - Alleine wären sie mir schon lieber...

Kann ich so genau nicht sagen, weil die Informationen mehr als spärlich fließen... Von MCM haben sich Rhapsody auf jeden Fall schon Ende letzten Jahres getrennt, warum genau kann ich aber nur spekulieren, da's da bis jetzt, so weit ich weiß, noch kein offizielles Statement von Seiten der Band gibt:

Ich persönlich denke, dass sie von DeMaio wahrscheinlich teilweise ne musikalische Richtung vorgegeben bekommen haben, man höre sich nur mal das letzte Album Triumph or Argony an, auf dem für mich die Atmosphäre fast komplett verloren gegangen ist und mich kein einziges Lied wirklich vom Hocker reißt, was bei keiner anderen ihrer CDs der Fall ist.
Was Rhapsody wohl auch gestört hat, ist, dass sie, wie auf ihrer Homepage zu lesen, zu wenig auf Tour waren, und wenn, dann eben nur als Vorband für Manowar, was sich eine großartige Band wie Rhapsody, bei all meiner Sympathie für die musikalische Seite von Manowar, wirklich nicht antun muss.

Ansonsten kann ich nur noch mal sagen: Nix genaues weiß man nicht.

Ich auch, is jetz auch schon wieder über 15 Monate her.
Aber vielleicht auch mit ner anderen Setlist und mehr von dem alten Zeugs, und nicht dieses zwölfminütige Erian's Mystical Rhymes, is zwar schön auf CD, aber live brauch ich das echt nicht in der Länge.

bei mir war´s mit manowar und holyhell zusamm ....ick kannte bis da nur manowar ...ick war von rhapsody so begeistert dat ick mir gleich die neue cd nachm konzi geholt hab ...

Jo bei mir auch. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, bin ich auch mehr wegen Rhapsody denn wegen Manowar hin.
War das dann schon Triumph or Agony? Das ist das Album, das mir am wenigsten gefällt, kann bis auf ein paar Lieder nur wenig damit anfangen, leider.
