Metal Coven Records proudly present their first release, a 7” Split Single with AXEWIELDER (GER) and HEATHEN HOOF (FIN). The black vinyl record is limited to 525 handnumbered copies and features three exclusive masterpieces of traditional 80s-styled Heavy Metal!
AXEWIELDER appear on side “WEREWOLF” with their skullcrushing battleanthems “Heavy Metal Werewolf” and “Steel Force”! Both of their songs are exclusive studio recordings, that are in this form only availible on this single! AXEWIELDER’s style is NWOBHM-influenced Heavy/Thrash Metal in the vein of early Venom, Warfare, Atomkraft, Tank, Bulldözer, etc.
HEATHEN HOOF’s are featured on side “HORNED GOD” with their neckbreaking heavy metal-hymn “Son of the Horned God”! This song also appeared on the band’s first demo, but on our single we have an exclusive studio recording! The music is traditional NWOBHM which reminds on british cult acts such as Witchfinder General, Pagan Altar, Crucifixion, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Witchfynde, Cloven Hoof or early Maiden!!!
Both sides are decorated with totally oldschool b/w artworks by the japanese cult artist HEADLIGHT (f.e. Gorgon, Headlight, etc)! The single also contains b/w inserts with photos, lyrics, infos, thankslists, etc.
