I have a request: Confirm more bands!

For Wacken 2010, Wacken took absolute ages to finish confirming their entire lineup. Compared to the years before, they had something like 50% fewer bands confirmed up until a few weeks before the festival than the previous 4-5 years before that! I mean, what the fuck? Was it really so much harder to confirm bands for Wacken 2009, than the previous 4-5 editions?? Most of the other big metal festivals kept their track... Summer Breeze, that takes place 2 weeks after Wacken had a lot more bands confirmed than Wacken, at any given time!

and it looks like we're going the same path again. We have what, 2 bands confirmed now!! TWO!!!!

Let me see... Currently this is how it stands:
Hellfest has confirmed 32 bands
Headbanger's Open Air has 17 bands
Bloodstock has confirmed 10 bands
Party San has 5 bands

What is the problem??

Were is the Problem? There: Warum soll sich der Veranstalter um Headliner oder ein besonderes Lineup bemühen wenn sich die Karten auch so verkaufen.

So langsam hätte ich auch gern welche, rein interessehalber. Meinetwegen können auch alle nen Monat vorher bestätigt werden, ich fahre ja eh wieder hin. Bisher hat mich das Billing noch nie enttäuscht.

Sollte es aber tatsächlich so sein, dass alle Karten mit grade einmal zwei Bands im Billing ausverkauft werden, dann bin ich mir sicher, dass die Orga drauf stolz ist. Garantiert.

I dont want to watse my money on a ticket with only 2 bands confirmed. i know there will be more bands in the future, but i might not like them at all. then i've wasted my 130 euro wich i could have used on another festival. argh, what the heck, i doubt the forum admins will report this to the wacken border.

But i do agree with thor, this really sucks...
