Ancient Rites = good black/death sound, but not the kinda stuff I want to see live, so nope.

Annihilator = Been a fan since the Alice In Hell days, FUCK YEAH!

Assassin = Old-school thrash, but runs opposite In Flames...

Bai Bang = Uh...no.

Callenish Circle = F'n AWESOME Gothenburg-style stuff. Depends whether Metalium starts boring me partway through their set or not. Probably.

Carpathian Forest = Beer break time. Must prepare for marathon band run following.

Circle II Circle = I know Zak from his pre-'Tage band Wicked Witch. Cool guy, decent music...sure, why not?

Cryptic Wintermoon, Dark Age, Dark Funeral = Black metal, all "maybes."

Darkane = Ahh, fuck, why'd they have to be opposite Stratovarius? Damn good Swedish thrash, "Rusted Angel" absolutely KILLS.

Dew-Scented = Oh yeah! Slayer-riffic thrashing madness! Too bad I will probably not be conscious at 11 a.m.

Diamond Head = I don't even think they're coming...heard something about how they were never confirmed, dunno. Would be nice to see them (okay, so I'm OLD and like older bands...)

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter = Good stuff, but no way am I missing the mighty TESTAMENT!!

Dismember = DAMN good death metal. Play opposite Dark Age...so forget Dark Age!

Eidolon = Not bad music, vocalist bores me though. And they play opposite Soilwork, so screw 'em.

Evidence One = Gaaaahhh...Xian metal...*barfs* Beer break time. (See opposite band Carpathian Forest, above)

Extreme Noise Terror = The word "Noise" applies well. Uh-uh. Besides, again, probably won't be awake yet...

Freedom Call = Think I'd rather take a bathroom break. I like SOME power metal but not these guys...not sure quite why.

Gamma Ray = Damn right I'm there. I'm old & old-fashioned, so I appreciate this kinda shit.

Graveworm = COF-style black metal at 11 a.m.? Uh...no.

Heavenshallburn = Not a bad sound, but I'd rather see Kataklysm.

Human Fortress = Gee, they have songs titled "The Dragon's Lair" and "Holy Grail Mine"...I WONDER what kind of metal they play...actually, I don't mind well-done Manowar-style stuff, but this is...mediocre. Skippin' it.

In Flames = Fuck yeah! And I hope they play a lot of old stuff! The latest album didn't thrill me all that much, but their old shit KILLS.

Kataklysm = HYPERBLAST! YEAAAAHHHHH!!! ('Nuff said)

Lordi = *best Mister Rogers voice* All right boys and girls, now can we all say "GWAR ripoff?" Sure you can. I knew you could. *stops that voice shit* Given a choice between them and Subway To Sally, I think I'll...probably go to sleep.

Lotto King Karl = One question: WHY?

Malevolent Creation = OH YEAH, MY kind of death metal! Fast, heavy, and BRUTAL! Been with 'em since the beginning, will inject lighter fluid into my veins to get me there on time if I have to!!

Masterplan = Damn good power metal album from ex-Helloweiners. Will definitely check 'em out.

Metalium = Decent power metal, will probably watch them until it's time for Callenish Circle to start. Either that or just take a beer break until then.

Nile = I like their insanely-fast brutality, but as (again) an old fart in terms of metal, I gotta go with Sinner...

Obscenity = Heavy, but won't go to them in favor of The Crown. NO WAY!

Onkel Tom = I'd rather see Sodom, damnit! But I guess at that point I'm not really gonna care one way or the other...as long as it's heavy, I'll listen to it!

Oratory = Melodic Portuguese female-fronted power metal. Will only catch a few minutes of it before I MUST go see Sentenced. Can I just stare at the vocalist for a while?

Primal Fear = Painkiller-era Priest reincarnated. You're damn right I'm there!

Psychopunch = No thanks.

Rage = Good heavy melodic stuff. Definitely.

Raise Hell = One album of blasting death, two albums of classic thrash. They quite simply KICK ASS. But opposite PF... arrrgh!! I will catch the first few minutes if I can!

Raunchy = Not really to my taste, plus they're playing opposite the Malevolent ones...

Rotting Christ = I like the atmospheric style, but I'd rather see Gamma Ray.

Running Wild = Arrr, matey. 'Tis the black spot on me ticket! I be there!

Sentenced = Two reasons to see 'em:

1.) GREAT melancholy metal who put on an excellent live show (if you like them, check out the side project Poisonblack too)

2.) My German friend who's being good enough to let me crash at his place will strangle me if I don't go to them.

Seventh One = Xian limpdicks. End of story. Especially since they're opposite The Crown!

Sinister = Too fuckin' early in the morning. Too bad, 'cause they're pretty damn good, female vocalist but you'd never know it by listening.

Sinner = Yup, the old bastard has to go see the 20-year vets in action again...

Slayer = No, I wrote that wrong. It's "SLAAAAAAAYYYYYEEEEERRRR!!!!" FUCK YEEEEEAHHHHHH!!!!

Soilwork = Some seriously good Gothenburg melodic death/thrash, better than the "new" In Flames, that's for sure. Definitely there.

Sonata Arctica = Okay, so they're Stratovarius clones. So what, they still sound great! But why did they have to play opposite Vader? Urrgh...this one is a tough choice...will have to see how I feel after SLAAAAAAAAYYYYYEEEEERRRRR!!!

Stratovarius = Okay, I take that back, Sonata's BETTER than Stratovarius, so they can't really be clones. Opposite Darkane...another rough choice. Will have to decide when I'm there.

Subway To Sally = Errr...nah, I think I like Lordi better.

Symphorce = You know, it's a shame Andy Franck can't write his own fucking lyrics 'cause the music is okay. Pain Of Salvation ain't the only band he's ripped off. In his other band, Brainstorm, he's got a song with lyrics almost entirely stolen from Overkill songs, another one with Dream Theater lyrics, another with Flotsam & Jetsam lyrics, another with Shadow Gallery lyrics...

TestAmenT = FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKK YEEEEAAAAAHHHH!! *ahem* Okay, I feel better now.

The Crown = I don't care if it's still relatively early in the day... TOTAL SATAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!!!! YES!!! Especially with the old vocalist back!

The Quill = Stupid name. Strike one. Stoner rock/metal first thing in the morning? Strike two. Opposite Dew-Scented? Strike three. You're outta there.

Thyrfing = I love the Viking death sound...but I've GOTTA see Malevolent!

Twisted Sister = Errr...ummm...sheesh. I mean, I liked the Sisters back when I was just a teen, and I wouldn't mind seeing 'em again, but...fuck, Iced Earth was probably my favorite band on the original bill. *sigh* I'll see these guys for nostalgia, if nothing else.

Twisted Tower Dire = The "sword & steel" metal fans will have a problem here deciding between these guys and Human Fortress. I think I'll go back to sleep for an hour.

V8 Wankers = Only band here I've never heard of. Don't think I want to, either.

Vader = Again, judgement call. Great Polish death.

Victims Of Madness = Are they even on the running order?

Victory = Aaaah, I dunno. Maybe. Or maybe just drink before Running Wild.
