AVULSED-support is not spamming!!

Hi There,

I'm Dave Rotten, vocalist of AVULSED. Some of you, specially the ones who never heard of AVULSED before, and are shocked to see the huge amount of fans we have, are accusing us of spamming and that's totally false.

The story goes like this:

Like in January I contacted the organization and asked them what shall I do to have AVULSED considered to play at WOA and since they didn't even reply my phone call and later e-mail, I asked our label (italian AvantGarde Music) to help us, because they already had one of their label bands (BEHEMOTH) playing at WOA last year, so they told me to send them a promo pack with 3 CD's and they would forward it to the agency in change of dealing with the bands. Then, last week, our label told us they sent them package and never got a reply to their 15 e-mails...

Then I didn't know what to do, because we're in fact going to Germany to record our 3rd album in a town near Düsseldorf at the same time as the WOA happens and it would be a shame for us & our fans not to see us playing at the most famous Metal fest when we're so near, specially considering our difficult situation for touring due to our job obligations during the rest of the year.

I first posted a thread on this forum and then sent an e-mail through my own mailing list (no spamming) asking all our fans to show us their support replying to the thread I posted or either sending an e-mail to the organisators. I did this mailing last friday, and since then we've been receiving an overwhelming positive reaction from our fans all over the world!! Only for this, I think this AVULSED support-campaign was worth, because now we know how much our fans loves us.

The reason why other fans have opened other threads has nothing to do with us. Neither that accusation that all these replied are done by me using different names, etc... that's false bullshit!! This is the very first time I do a reply since I posted the first thread!!

I'm too busy running my own label REPULSE RECORDS (www.repulserecords.com) and my Music portal XTREEM MUSIC (www.xtreemmusic.com) to stay every fucking minute posting fake replies and threads. That wouldn't do me any favour...

As for the fashion word "spamming", I think it's not used the right way. These messages are done by all different users, which are all fans of AVULSED, trying to get a reply of why AVULSED can't play at WOA. Not even us got a reply!! Nobody didn't bother to tell us why not. Do we have to pay to play?? Or the label??

Concerning that guy from Madrid who loves SU TA GAR (METALLICA-like old-fashioned band), I don't know who's that guy, but if he's from Madrid, sure it's one of these typical babies who flip-out with EXTREMODURO & shit like that... Anyway, even to you, baby, thanx for "hating" us, that make us stronger!!

If we don't play at WOA, we won't cry. We have played at New Jersey's Metal Fest last year, they even paid us the plane tickets, and that's our biggest achieve apart of the 1 month tour throughout California & Central America (down to Costa Rica) ('00) and our two Euro-tours supporting SINISTER ('96) & INCANTATION ('97).

We have our pride, and even if we're opened to play for free (not even asking for food, drinks or accomodation!!) we won't get our trousers down to get bent by anyone!! We feel Metal and we've been playing this music (as a band) since '92 achieving a really huge legion of fans over the world and it's because of them why we want to play at WOA!!

Support this music, not fucking business!!

We're not against the support, we are against spamming. And if all threads would be for Slayer then the topic would be named '@ the Slayer spamming guys'

That has nothing to do with the band or did somebody say anything against Avulsed? Who did, ha? But you and you stupid reproches... bah. You turn all things around, you don't get the main topic which is spam not a wall against Avulsed. That's it.

I'm sorry if all this is irritating you, but there's no place saying what topics we must talk about and how, so if this is so annoying to you, just don't enter en any thread with the word AVULSED. That's simple.

Spam is something you get without asking for it, so if you enter yourself on the AVULSED threads, it's just your choice. simple as that.

Be constructive, not destructive.

NO, I'm not the boss, and I never told you what to do. Simply suggested you a solution to your problems. It seems you get irritated with every AVULSED thread, so I just suggested you to ignore it. Do whatever you want, of course, but then don't cry like you're doing...

...And it's you who's acting like a boss telling us not to post more threads and/or how we must do them and what we should talk about!!! If you don't get it now I can't do more about it.

well, you started with all wrong reproches, not me. and you started telling me which thread to read and which not. you and some others made a spam-complaint to a wall against Avulsed. that's it.

And you're supporting that spam which is even worse. I'm supporting metal. Because, did I ever say aginst Avulsed? That's what you say all time, all are against Avulsed... oh damn... what paranoia, eh? .

Hey, nobody opening a new Avulsed thread? All spammers sleeping? Or is it too much work to cope with 6 accounts or so???

I don't think those six accounts or whatever are only one person. Obviously some fans reacted to the mail that was sent via the Repulse newsletter (hey, I got one of them ) and in order to support their band, they registered here and posted. That's why they all have like one post or so... I don't think that has a lot to do with spamming. And I don't understand why you are attacking Dave now, Thordis. All he wanted to do is to make things a bit clearer. Did you actually read what he's written?

Insults, reproches, what else do we need? That's the way the forum is destroyed. No wonder that more and more people are leaving - before I stop attacking him, he should think what he has written, because he attacked us all. So don't give me the fault alone. There are some more people involved in it.

I tried always to explain that xept and me where complaining about the spam and Anubus started to think that we're against Avulsed. Then Dave went on the same way. Strange eh?

Anyway, I decided to leave the forum completely, I'm really tired of all those spammers, bad-mooded people here and all those insults, reproches and so. Whatever, go on with spamming, it won't help anyone and still: it isn't a support.

Adios and Dave, forget it, I don't need your friendly way now, you're a part of this quarrel, so don't play the innocent here (the same to others involved here now).
