i'm not putting it in my backpack because it will burst!

If you put it in some newspaper, then into a plastic bag. Roll it up in a T-shirt or something, I've never seen one brake yet. Just make sure you don't put it right next to something hard

Not break, but blow up because of the pressure in the baggage area - i've had too many liquid things 'leak' travelling interstate and have learnt my lesson

How is everyone accomodating themselves, im thinking its going to tough life in a tent, especially with all my lugguage at risk of theft. Im thinking of hiring a car, so i can store and sleep in it, anyone think this is a good idea?

I've been there 4 times, always left my stuff in the tent and never had anything stolen.

Me personally I rather sleep in a tent than in a car.
