The registry office in Gothenburg does not allow Metallica
STOCKHOLM
A sweedish couple tries to get authorization from court to call their daughter Metallica, after the known hardrock band. The 6 months old girl has been baptised by now, but the Registry Office refuses to register her under that name..
A judge in Gothenburg ruled that the couple stood in their rights one month ago, also because in Sweden, a woman is called Metallica as a middle name, but the Registry Office has appeiled against this ruling.
Her mum, 27-year old Karolina Tomann, says the name suits perfectly for her little girl. "She is self assured, and knows what she wants".

I don't want to live in a city which forbids metallica as a name. No way you can listen to ...And Justice For All, for example.
