Motorcycle ride to Wacken

Hi,

For many years I have been toying with the idea of going to Wacken on my motorcycle.

Anyone going by motorcycle?

The plan is Lisboa -> Bordeaux -> Amsterdam -> Arrive in Wacken 31st.

In 2011 I went to Germany to meet some friends and went to the Sonisphere festival in Metz to see the Big Four and took 14 bottles of portuguese wine, fortified wine and liquor and after a trip to gas in Luxembourg brought back some Auchentoshan and Jack Daniels bottles back.

Looking for a guide/group to show me around, have a good time and share the wine/spirits.

Any takers?

Amsterdam is popular tourist destination and you avoid going through switzerland! (is my guess)

Lisbon-Bordeaux-Luxemburg-Liège-Aachen-Kóln-Hamburg.... and you avoid Switserland as well. And still end up in Luxemburg for the stop for alcohol (and possible tobacco), and fuel.

Luxembourg is probably for the way back, on the way there the side cases are still full.

Looks like this year is going to be Hellfest for me, the ticket I was waiting on didn't happened so I'll go to Clisson this year.

Let's see if next year is the year.
