Welcome to „The Metal-Charts - 40 Years of Metal, my project for all the metalfans who allways wanted to know which of the countless bands out there are the greatest, best distinguished of them.
In the last 4 month I worked with tons of reviews to create a chart with more than 11 thousand bands. I didn't want to just take salesrecords because I think reviews show more how etablished the bands are in the metalscene.
Maybe you'll think sometimes that some bands shouldn't be listed here or why a band is not on the position you would place them, but you can be sure that this list is not representing my personal favorite ranking. It's a collection, an average overview what metalfans all around the world like the most, so whatch it, enjoy it, rate it and write comments as much as you can.
The videos will follow day by day, so whatch out for them.
